"How To Help Others With Eating Disorders"

Ellen Lachowicz Morrison, MS, RD, LDN, has specialized in the treatment of
eating disorders since 1994. She opened her private practice in Raleigh,
NC in 1998. Ellen started her career at the Renfrew Center Florida and in
2006 was part of the initial staff at Carolina House where she developed a
unique and effective nutrition program and was instrumental in setting the
facility’s policies and procedures. Ellen is associated with IAEDP and has
written the Core Nutrition Course for certification. She has worked with
the media in outreach, prevention and public awareness. Ellen has appeared
as a discussion panelist with Susie Orbach, is a professional speaker on
the topics of eating disorders and nutrition counseling and has taught
college level nutrition. She is the Co-President of the NC Triangle
Network of Eating Disorder Professionals. Ellen resides in Raleigh, NC
with her husband. Ellen is a lover of cats in all sizes. For relaxation,
she bakes and decorates cakes.
